Clarence Kearbey Obituary

CLARENCE N. KEARBEY, 85 ROCKFORD - Clarence N. Kearbey, 85, of Rockford passed away peacefully Monday, May 30, 2011, at his home, with his loving family by his side. Clarence married Hazel Francis on April 25, 1953. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, and was a real handyman, a jack of all trades. Survived by wife, Hazel; son, James Kearbey of Seward, Neb., stepdaughter, Wilma Francis; five grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews, all of the Rockford area; brother, Lester Kearbey of Hartford; and three brothers-in-law. Predeceased by his parents; two brothers; and a sister. The family would like to especially thank Northern Illinois Hospice. The family will host a memorial gathering at their home, 3519 Arline Ave., Rockford, IL 61101, at a later date. Condolences at mem.com.
