Coralie McGarry Obituary

Coralie A. 'Corky' McGarry, 82 ROCKFORD - Coralie A. "Corky" McGarry, 82, of Rockford died Friday, May 13, 2011, in Amberwood Care Center. Born Feb. 23, 1929, in Chicago, the daughter of Harry and Maybelle (Hough) McGarry. Employed as a secretary for most her life. She was a greeter at the cornerstone building, a member of the ladies auxiliary at the Navy Club, a volunteer with VNA Hospice, involved with Steven Ministries at St. Paul Lutheran Church and was on a bowling league. Survivors include daughter, Susan (Kenneth) McClellan; grandchildren, Jennifer Smith-Burak and Todd, David and Elizabeth Smith; great-grandchildren, Edward, Jordan and Bailey Burak. Predeceased by her parents. Private service in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road. Express condolences and share memories online at honquestfh.com.
