DALE ROBERT GREENLEE, 60 an ornery saint ROCKFORD - Dale Robert Greenlee 60, of Pelion, S.C., formerly of Rockford, passed away Dec. 30, 2012, after a brief illness at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C. He was born March 21, 1952, in Rockford; the son of Robert and Phyllis (Dever) Greenlee. Dale attended Rockford Auburn High School. He worked as a truck driver for GP Trucking in South Carolina up to the time of his illness. He enjoyed riding his Harley and he played as an extra in the movie "The Quick and the Dead". Dale is survived by his son, David Clark and grandson, Devon Robert Greenlee of Pelion; brothers. Daniel (Linda) Greenlee of Washington, Ind., David Greenlee of Rockford; and aunt, Marilyn Jones of Prescott, Ariz. A Celebration of Dale's life at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Heartland Community Church, 1280 S. Alpine Road, Rockford, with visitation from noon to time of services; Pastor Gordy Smith will officiate. Interment in Winnebago Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Rockford Rescue Mission.
