Dean Holden Obituary

DEAN S. HOLDEN, 84 ROCKFORD - Dean S. Holden, 84, of Rockford passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, in his home. Born Oct. 26, 1926, in Rockford; son of Harold and Verna (Seaton) Holden. Married Jean Paris on March 31, 1951, in St. Anthony Church. Dean was in the Navy serving during World War II. Owner of Wyman Buffet and Deans Pub. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Survivors include wife, Jean; children, Patricia and Dean Patrick; sister, Shirley Gregg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, and brother, Dale Holden. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service.
