DELORIS IRWIN KEPNER ROCKFORD - Deloris Irwin Kepner, resident of Wesley Willows, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, with family by her side. She was born in Rockford, IL on August 12, 1921, to George Irwin and Nellie (Kindberg) Irwin. She graduated from Rockford Central High. Married Wendell C. Kepner in 1949; he died September 1994. She was a secretary for C.E. Ware Architects for 28 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with family, enjoyed golfing with friends, was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, member of P.E.O Chapter N.J. Survived by daughter, Kathryn (James) Urbanowitz of South Beloit; son, Bruce (Deborah) Kepner of Madison, Wis.; grandchildren, Nicholas (Beth) Urbanowitz, Erin (Ty) Maiden, Nathan (Eleni) Kepner; great-granddaughter, Crosby Grace Maiden; numerous nieces and nephews; Predeceased by parents, spouse, granddaughter, Alexia Urbanowitz. The family would like to thank Wesley Willows E wing staff for the wonderful care they gave Deloris.
