Dennis was a great guy in so many ways. He has been cutting my hair for years and if I was having a bad day and I stopped in he would always give me one of his sparkling smiles and make me laugh. I will miss you Dennis. Rest in peace.

I have known Dennis well over 15 years. He cut my hair for most of that time. He impressed me the first time I met him. I had a coupon for his salon on Kilburn for a free hair cut. At the time my hair was to the middle of my back. I had decided if I liked the person and place I would have my hair cut super short. When he saw me he asked if I was his 5:30, I said if you are Dennis, then yes. He commented on how much hair I have. (I have often been told I have enough hair for 5 people.) Just before he started I told him "Let's go short" and he started to play with my hair in a way that said it would be around shoulder length. I said NO, I want my ears to show, super short. He could'nt believe it, asked if I was sure a couple times; and when I told him yes he grabbed a hand full of my hair, said ok, and cut off all but about 1 1/2" inches right in the front at my forehead! He had a ball, couldn't believe I was letting him do this, and you could tell he was doing something he loved! I loved my cut, and we became friends. He cut my hair every three weeks except for one time when I let it get down to my shoulders again, but I went back to him because I had to go short again! I even used to go to his home when he wasn't at a salon for a short time. I will miss him, and his talent!
My sympathies to his family and friends.
