Emma Krebs Obituary

EMMA JEAN KREBS, 72 ROCKFORD - Emma Jean Krebs, 72, of Rockford died at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born Nov. 21, 1938, in West Bend, Wis.; the daughter of Arnold and Emma Jean (Wolf) Lober. Emma was a 1957 graduate from Columbus High School in Wisconsin. She received her LPN in 1958, from Madison Technical College. She later worked for Barber-Colman for 30 years as a machine operator. Survived by daughters, Cindy (George) Vessichio of Wallingford, Conn., Kemmy (Glenn) Stickney of Germantown, Wis., and Debra Kinchen of Rockford; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Rev. John (Anna Marie) Lober of Columbia, S.C., Marion (Ronald) Manthe of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Paul (Marlene) Lober of Jackson, Wis. Service at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 22, in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services, Ltd., North Main Chapel, 2811 N. Main St., with visitation from 3 to 3:45 p.m.; the Rev. John Lober will officiate. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in her name. To share a memory or online condolence, visit olsonfh.com.
