Gino A. Dal Pra, 77 ROCKFORD - Gino A. Dal Pra, 77, of Rockford passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, in Kishwaukee Community Hospital. Gino was born May 24, 1933, in Rockford to Peter and Edvige Aliprandini Dal Pra. He worked for Eclipse in Rockford for 37 years, retiring in 1988. Member of St. Anthony Church. Gino graduated from St. Anthony schools and West High School, Class of 1951. Gino loved fishing, golfing, woodworking projects and watching his great-niece and -nephews' sporting events. Survivors include his brother, Isidore Dal Pra of Rockford; sister-in-law, Karen Dal Pra of Rockford; nieces and nephews, Michael (Chris) Dal Pra of Rockford, Maria (Brian) Timms of Cherry Valley, Joseph (Stephanie) Dal Pra of Tucson, Ariz., and Christina (Shawn) Crain of Cherry Valley; great-nieces and -nephews, Thomas, Nicholas and Zachary Dal Pra, Jake, Callan and Melanie Timms, Colton and Mason Crain. Predeceased by his parents and brothers, Mario and Raymond. The family would like to thank the staff at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, Kindred Hospital and Rockford Memorial Hospital for their care and support for Gino. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, in St. Anthony of Padua Church, with visitation from 9 to 9:45 a.m.; the Franciscan Friars will officiate. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
