ISAAC 'IKE' LEE DAVIS, 80 ROCHELLE - Isaac "Ike" Lee Davis, 80, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Alden Park Strathmoor Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 16, 1932, in Rochelle, the son of Charles Allen and Amanda Kathryn Meacham Davis. He married Doris Simms on June 7, 1956, in Rochelle. Ike served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for and then retired from the Rochelle Municipal Utilities. He is survived by his wife, Doris Davis of Rockford; daughter:, Rebecca Jean (Neal) Warren of Rockford; brother, Doneal (Dot) Davis of Spokane, Wash.; sister, Doris Jane (Arthur) Sanders of Columbus, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brother, Billy Dean Davis, who was killed in action in the Korean Conflict and infant son, Michael. Service at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Unger Horner, 400 N. Sixth St., Rochelle. Burial in Trinity Memory Gardens, Rochelle, with military services provided by the Eastern-Lee Ogle Honor Guard.
