James Mulcahey Obituary

JAMES FRANCIS MULCAHEY, 74 CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. -James Francis Mulcahey passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011, in Citrus Springs. Born Sept. 22, 1936, in Rockford, Ill., to Paul and Frances (Drew) Mulcahey. Jim worked for Hydro-Line Mfg., in Rockford and Reno, Nev., respectively for 23 years. He moved to California and worked as head of maintenance at Monterey Bay Country Club, before retiring to Citrus Springs. Jim loved people and life and lived it to the fullest. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards (and winning)! His great sense of humor was unparalleled and appreciated by all. He will be extremely missed by his wife of 26 years, Vicki; the mother of his children, Judy Mulcahey; son, Gregory; daughters, Patricia (Danny) Boyd, Laurie (Kenneth) Goettsch, Elizabeth Higgins and Susan (Mark) Bileto, all of Rockford; stepchildren, Lance (Cindy), Alan (Roberta), Lauri Jean (Mike) and Kim; brothers, Michael of Florida, Thomas of California and Donald of Maryland; sister, Patricia Mulcahey of Wisconsin; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; and brother, Jack. Celebration of his life from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Northwest Community Center. 1325 N. Johnston Ave., Rockford. Arrangements by Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Inverness.

Very sorry for your loss. Jim & I worked together at Hydro-Line for many years,Jim was a good man.We have good memories of Jim @ H-L ,there were lots of good memories back then.Our prayers go out to the family.
