John Clark Obituary

John W. Clark, 79 DAVIS - John W. Clark, 79, of Davis died at 12:15 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, in Provena Cor Mariae after a short illness. Born Aug. 16, 1931, in Albany, Wis., the son of Robert and Florence (Nolty) Clark. Married Doris E. Brick on Aug. 10, 1957, in Davis. He was employed as a machinist by Barber-Colman Co. for 43 years. Church family of First Congregational Community Church, Roscoe. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Germany and France. A member of Janesville Moose and former member of the Davis Fire Department. He looked forward to dancing and especially going to polka fests. Survivors include wife, Doris Clark of Davis; daughters, Jonna (Andrew) Lamm of Rock City and DoRinda White of Orfordville, Wis.; grandchildren, Matthew and Timothy Lamm, Sarah Kleindl and Reid White; sister, Rosalie Leopold of Juda, Wis.; brothers, Robert (Ramona) Clark Jr. and Forrest Clark, both of Davis; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; and sister, Hasel Wilson. Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, in First Congregational Community Church, 10780 Third St., Roscoe. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, Wis. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in McCorkle Funeral Home, 101 Main St., Durand. A memorial is being established. So sorry of Uncle Johns passing. He was always acceptable for a big hug. I know he will greatly missed, but in the same thought he will now be in peace. You both are so special to me. Love to you and the girls.
