JOHN F. 'JACK' WALSH, 83 ROCKFORD - John F. "Jack" Walsh, 83, passed away Dec. 21, 2010, at SwedishAmerican Hospital, after a brief hospitalization. Survived by his children, who will miss him greatly, Sheila (Giorgio) Manzana of Danvers, Mass., Dennis (Eileen) of Tinley Park, Thomas (Sonia) of Portland, Ore., John of Roscoe, Monica (Santiago) Sanchez of Chicago and Daniel of Rockford; grandchildren, Mike, Natalia, Vanessa, Julia, John, Lara, Jenni and Isabella; numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces; brothers, Tom (Donna) and Bob (Florence); and sisters, Rosemary (Lou) Haskins, Patricia (Mickey) Sheehan and JoAnn (Tom) Connelly. Predeceased in January 2010 by his devoted wife, Mary Alice (Phelps); and brother, Jim (Ruby). Memorial Mass at 11:15 a.m. Friday, May 13, at Holy Family Church. Internment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
