JUDITH M. 'PETE' PEASLEE, 61 BELVIDERE - Judith M. "Pete" Peaslee, 61, of Belvidere, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, in Alma Nelson-Debes in Rockford. Born Aug. 13, 1947, in Rockford, the daughter of DeLoss A. and Dorothy Irene (Rooth) Pete. Married Dennis E. Peaslee on Dec. 26, 2007, in Belvidere. Worked as an insurance claim supervisor for many years; in her spare time she enjoyed many different types of crafts including sewing, painting and card making. She also was fond of flower gardening, music and was an avid reader. Survived by husband, Dennis; father, DeLoss Pete; stepchildren, Rhonda (Larry) Dobson of Cherry Valley, Dawn (Eric) Lutzow of Belvidere; stepgrandchildren, Jessica Dobson, Alex Dobson, Savanna Marsili, Madison Lutzow; sisters, Carol Ann (Jim) Henson and Gail Ruth Gallaway, both of California; brothers Reginal A. Pete of Roscoe, Charles A. (Debra) Pete of Belvidere, Edward A. (Cindy) Pete of Rockford; special friend, Annie Hardesty. Predeceased by mother, Irene and brother, Michael Pete. Memorial celebration of Judith's life at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 10, in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, with the Rev.
