KRAIG 'K.C.' CHARLES LAMB BELOIT, Wis. - K.C. Lamb passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011, surrounded by his loving wife and family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Graduate of Beloit Memorial High School, Class of 1980. K.C. married his teenage sweetheart, Lisa Linner Hayward on Aug. 22, 1997. For more than 26 years he was employed by Ingersoll Productions Systems in Rockford, Ill., as an electrical supervisor. Active member of the Coachmen Street Rodders of Beloit, and built several award-winning street rods. He also created the award trophies for the Autorama for the last nine years. K.C. was an avid woodworker and created many fine pieces of furniture for family and friends. Survived by his loving wife, Lisa; his mother and "Pops," Sandie and Randy Hagstrom of Big Flats; special in-laws, Elmer and Joy Linner of Beloit; children, Casey Lynn (Gary Casswell) Hayward of Beloit, Ryan (Michelle) Hayward of Clarksville, Tenn., and Nathen (Angel) Hayward of El Paso, Texas; eight granddaughters with one on the way; sisters and brothers, Robin Lamb of Rockford, Carey Caskey (Phil Hendrickson) of Waxahachie, Texas, Michelle (Dave) Thomas of Rockford, Mike (Maricel) Hagstrom and Dan Lamb, both of South Beloit, Ill., Melissa (Jason) Snudden of Roscoe, Ill., Melinda (Steve) Hemerley-Franks of Beloit; sister and brothers-in-law, Michelle (Mike) Myhrvold of Virginia Beach, Va., and Michael (Lynette) Linner of Orfordville; and several nieces and nephews and devoted friends. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with visitation from 3 p.m. to time of service; the Rev. Steve Franks will officiate.
