Mrs. Roach, Myra, John, and family- I have many happy memories of Mr Roach when I would come to your house to visit when I was in nursing school with Myra. Mr. Roach always had a twinkle in his eye, and a smile on his face. His voice was always gentle, and he was a man who loved God. His sense of humor was always kind, and he was truly a gentle man. I have been blessed in knowing him these many years as our friendships have continued. I remember the joy you both shared at your 50 th wedding anniversary and was so blessed to see a couple that still shared a special love after so many years. He would challenge me with Scripture as I grew older and became a woman of faith, and I remember his broad hands holding his Bible as though it was the most precious thing on earth. It has been a blessing to be part of sharing him in my life all these years, and I truly feel your loss. May God carry you each through these days ahead in the knowing that Lester is dancing and rejoicing in heaven with that wonderful smile upon his face. God Bless you all, and bring you peace beyond understanding. Love, Jo Ell
