ROCKFORD - Logan Thomas Bell, 18, of Rockford departed this earthly life Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012. He was born Jan. 18, 1994, in Palatine, son of Leonard Bell and Dianne Bell. Logan lived the last four years in Rockford, coming here from Indiana. Member of Pilgrim Baptist Church. He attended Rockford public schools. Logan leaves to cherish many loving memories parents, Leonard and Dianne; sister, Taryn Bell; brothers, Brandon Bell and Corey (Lisa), Christopher and Casey (Bridget) Scales; paternal grandparents, Willie and Bertha Bell; a host of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by maternal grandparents; Clarence and Eunice Berghuis. Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 1703 S. Central Ave., with visitation from 9 a.m. to service time; Pastor Kenneth Board will officiate. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home, 2429 W. State St.
