I met Duke at De Paul in the late 70s. We worked at the dorms during the summer. I've been trying to find him for many years. So glad to know he came to know his saviour. So sad he's gone.

Not having seen you for a long while, I was remembering all the fun we used to have in the "old days". I will never forget you Duke. God bless and keep you.

Louis attended our Discipleship Class in our home on Monday nights for several months. He was a radiant Christian and loved and served faithfully his personal Saviour, Jesus Christ. His weekly prayer was for his sister and children to also come to know Christ who changed his life. We will be out of town on Saturday and will not beable to attend his memorial service. Be assured we will be praying for the family. Louis is in heaven today!

I have only known a few people longer, and even fewer better. We met in Freshman English class, two lost socks, found in the same corner behind the dryer. We made some noise, we shared some fears, we lost some time, but it was always we, until school ended then it was good plans, and real excuses, then it was good intentions and dropped balls. We reached the "fork in the road, and we took it". I would like to think that I was here, that I didn't miss too many calls, that he didn't question our history; but who knows? He died with no one else in the room, but he did not die alone. I will miss him terribly. Jeff Brown

Duke, a gentleman, a scholar, and friend to all (especially to those in need). I am grateful and blessed for having you as part of my life.
Thank you,
