Marjorie Lindvall Obituary

Marjorie Ellen Lindvall, 80 BELVIDERE - Marjorie Ellen Lindvall, 80, of Belvidere died Friday, April 29, 2011, in her home surrounded by her family. Born Nov. 19, 1930, in Corona, Calif., the daughter of Jesse and Bertha (Naylor) Nowles. Married Dean Lindvall on Sept. 23, 1950, in Belvidere; he died Feb. 16, 1997. Marjorie enjoyed reading and going up to their cabin in Wisconsin. Member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include daughter, Teresa Ferguson of Belvidere; grandchildren, Joseph (Sara) Lindvall, Melissa (Evan) Binns, Rachel Ferguson, Kari Ferguson and Maggie Lindvall; great-grandchildren, Ava and Dane Lindvall, Hailey Binns and one on the way. Predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Jeff Lindvall; and sister, Mary Maxim. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Passages Hospice for their care and compassion. Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., with visitation from 10 a.m. to service time. The Rev. James Crone, pastor of First United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. Memorial may be given to the family. To send condolences, visit buckwheelerhyland.com.
