The last week has been so difficult. We will miss Nicholas so much. He was an amazing little boy who brought so much joy to our lives. Payton will miss her buddy so much! If you guys need anything at all call anytime! We love you guys.

Jeremy and Jeri,
I was completely shocked when I heard the news, and I can't imagine what you are going through. I know how much the two of you loved lil Nicholas..I saw it hours after he was born over at Swedes and in the hours you spent by his side in the hospitals. But more importantly, it was in his smile, so full of love and happiness.
Hopefully the support of your friends and families will help you get through this day by day.

Jeri and Jeremy,
We wanted you both to know we love you guys and we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Nicholas was such a fighter who had a zest to conquer all that came his way. Jeri, you made our Sept/Oct stay at Ronald McDonald House much easier. Then in January when we were all there again, we were able to finally meet Nicholas. His chubby lil' cheeks and saying "Hi" to everyone who walked into the room for dinner will forever bring a smile to my face. We were so excited to see him walking in the play room and the beautiful family that you are. You are amazing Jeri, even in time of need you gave..... you comforted me and supported Shannon when we had no one else. Please know you are in our prayers and I just smile when I think of your comment about my Kurt being with Nicholas. I am sure they're playing football and yelling "touchdown"!! I bet Kurt is telling Nicholas to spike the ball and dance around. The kids and I love you and are so blessed to have you as a friend. Know I am here for you.

Jeri, Jeremy, and family,
you and nicholas have all had such an amazing impact on my life, and i love you all. I can tell you honestly that the last time i saw your beautiful baby, i never in a million years thought it would be the last time i'd see him, or I would have held him close and told him how much i loved him, even if he couldn't understand me. It's amazing how strong of an impact such a little guy can have on a person's life..especially for such a short amount of time. You'll hear me say it again, i remember the first time i met nicholas. I don't think I knew then that he would be the best birthday present I'd ever recieve. I know for a fact that he touched so many lives, and his unresting strength and precious innocence was enough to make anybody's bad day a little brighter.
I love you guys, and you know that if you need anything, I'm here for you to help in any way i can. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
