ROBBIE E. MILLER, 70 CHERRY VALLEY - Robbie E. Miller, 70, of Cherry Valley died at 4:12 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, in her home, surrounded by her loving family, close friends and caregivers, all of whom she loved very much. Born July 7, 1942, in Toccoa, Ga., daughter of Robert L. Bowers and Grace Segars Bowers. Lived in Cherry Valley for 34 years, coming from Chicago. Married the love of her life, Darrell R. Miller on Feb. 17, 1962, in Chicago. While in Chicago, she worked for North Cicero Dodge as an office manager for 10 years. After moving to Cherry Valley in 1977, Robbie worked for Johnson-Olson Floor Coverings in Rockford and Spectrum TSI Floor Coverings as an office manager and interior designer. She finished her career working as an interior consultant for Zentz and Associates. Robbie was a longtime member of Kishwaukee Baptist Church and also enjoyed attending Community Bible Church. Robbie's passions were her faith, family, interior design, traveling and seeing the country on the back of a "Harley"! Survivors include husband, Darrell Miller of Cherry Valley; son, Jim Miller of Cherry Valley; daughter, Krisanne Cozart of Rockford; grandsons, Justin Miller, Charlie, Ross and Levi Cozart; granddaughters, Naomi Grace Cozart and Madison (Cozart) Jones; son-in-law, Charles (Stacey) Cozart; sister, Sandy Hendrix of Cherry Valley; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving caregivers of Heartland Hospice. To all of you, "Thank you for your love and support", and also a special thanks to Sherri Lewandowski for all her love and support. Service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, with Pastors Tim Ramsden and Steve Ramsden officiating. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the funeral home, and from 10 a.m. Wednesday to time of service.
