Robert Klinefelter Obituary

Robert Eugene Klinefelter, 46 BELVIDERE - Robert Eugene Klinefelter, 46, of Belvidere died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, in OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center after a short illness. Born Sept. 19, 1964, in Belvidere, the son of Charles and Florence (Fitch) Klinefelter. Married Tina Brinkmeyer on Jan. 4, 1986, in Belvidere. Robert worked for Hintzsche Fertilizer in Kirkland for the past 31/2 years, and before that he was at Garden Prairie Grain. He loved raising animals, helping his children with their 4-H projects and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to travel, especially to his favorite spots, Jamaica and Disney World. Survived by his loving wife, Tina; daughters, Katrina (Justin Blodgett) and Samantha Klinefelter; son, Robert C. Klinefelter; grandchildren, Jillianne and Isabelle Cummings and Charlotte Blodgett, all of Belvidere; parents, Charles and Florence Klinefelter; brothers, Buddy and Bernie Klinefelter; twin sister, Roberta (Hector) Klinefelter; and mother-in-law, Sarah Brinkmeyer, all of Belvidere; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and brother-in-law, Tim Brinkmeyer. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Cremation rites to be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family. To express condolences online, visit buckwheeler hyland.com.
