Ryan Halverson Obituary

Ryan 'Ryno' Halverson, 35 ROCKFORD - Ryan "Ryno" Halverson, 35, of Rockford died unexpectedly Friday, May 6, 2011, in his home. He was born Dec. 6, 1975, in Belvidere to Warren "Joe" Halverson and Glenda (Osborn) Lorenzini. He married Christa M. Shue on April 3, 2000, in Belvidere. Ryan is survived by wife, Christa of Rockford; son, Cody Gibson of Garden Prairie; mother, Glenda (Ted) Lorenzini of Belvidere; sister, Holly Halverson of Belvidere; brother, Jason (Dawn) Halverson of Bridgeport, Ala.; maternal grandparents, Gene and Joyce Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Warren "Joe" Halverson; paternal grandmother, Beulah Halverson; maternal grandfather, Jack Osborn; aunt, Linda Halverson; and cousin, Dustin Dickason. Service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave.; the Rev. Bryan Robyn, pastor of Open Bible Church, will officiate. Burial in Belvidere Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 9, in the funeral home. To express condolences, visit buckwheelerhyland.com.
