SCOTT 'SCOTTY' A. ROGGENSACK, 48 ROCKFORD - Scott "Scotty" A. Roggensack, 48, of Rockford died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Born Feb. 7, 1965, in Rockford, the son of Louis H. and Sharon D. (Freier) Roggensack Sr. Baptized member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He loved to listen and watch all sports. Scotty listened to all types of music and church on the radio. He enjoyed reading sports magazines and being with friends and family, especially time spent with his stepdad, Dave and brother, Louis. Scotty was formerly involved with the Special Olympics at Milestone. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. Survivors include mother, Sharon (David) Brandt; brother, Louis (Katty) Roggensack Jr.; sister, Linda (Jim) Rich; nieces and nephew, Jennifer, Amy and Brian Messinger; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his father, Louis; maternal grandmother, Verna Eggert; paternal grandparents, Louis and Mabel Roggensack; and uncles, Virgil Freier, LeRoy and Dennis Eggert. Special thanks to Milestone Inc., especially to the staff at Orchard Group Home and Milestone Industries. Service at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from noon to service time. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
