SHERRY ANN BROCK, 40 ROCKFORD - Sherry Ann Brock, 40, was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, January 26, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born March 2, 1973, in Rockford, to Patrick and Betty Stauffer. In 2001, she married Brandon Brock and that union blessed them with a beautiful son. Sherry graduated from Auburn High School and was a member of the Phantom Regiment Color Guard where she met and married her true love. Together they enjoyed camping and boating but her true passion was scrapbooking, with her son, capturing forever the Kodak moments in her life. Ethan would say "she is the best mommy in the world". Survivors include parents, Betty (Mark) Parsek, Patrick (Teddi) Stauffer; husband, Brandon; son, Ethan; sisters, Shannon (John Shields), Sheila (Cory Dietz), Shelley (Kyle Huffman), Samantha Stauffer; goddaughter, Ashley Hevrin; godson, Zachary Quick; Aunt Kay and Uncle Mike; many nieces and nephews who were dear to her; best friend, Lori Hevrin. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday, January 31, at St. Peter's Cathedral, 1243 N. Church St., Rockford, IL. Visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service. Visitation from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 30, at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
