Shirley Szeluga Obituary

SHIRLEY (WANKE) SZELUGA, 86 CHERRY VALLEY - Shirley (Wanke) Szeluga, 86, of Cherry Valley died Sunday, May 8, 2011. She was the daughter of Robel and Hazel Wanke of Cherry Valley. Survived by sons, Raymond (Mary Anne) of Lexington, Ky., and Richard of Minneapolis; grandchildren, RaeAnne Szeluga Davis of Cincinnati, Jacob of Mount Sterling, Ky., and Joseph of Rockford; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Davis and Connor Szeluga; and brothers and sister, Harold Wanke, Richard (Mary) Wanke and Patricia Wanke Campbell. Predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond; brother, Robel; and sisters, Adair and Ruth. She will be forever in our hearts and remembered with love always. Graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, in Cherry Valley Cemetery. Reception immediately after at Cherry Valley Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Neighbors Nursing Center, 811 W. Second St., Byron, IL 61010, in her memory. Arrangements by Anderson-Long-Klontz Funeral Home & Cremation Services Ltd., 6825 Weaver Road.
