TODD MICHAEL 'TK' KEGEL, 39 ROCKFORD - Todd Michael "TK" Kegel, 39, of Rockford died Saturday, May 7, 2011. Born June 1, 1971, in Rockford, son of Paul Kegel and Gayle Farley Kegel. He served as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army. Married Teresa Kampmeier at a motorcycle rally in Sturgis, S.D. Todd was previously employed by the oldest Harley Davidson dealer in the world, Kegel Motorcycles in Rockford. He also worked for his father at Milwaukee Harley Davidson. He attended MMI School in Phoenix and had been manager of a custom motorcycle store there. He dearly loved motorcycles and had designed and helped build a "one of a kind" Warbird motorcycle. He also held an LLC license. Todd was well liked, with a charismatic personality. His family always meant a lot to him. Survivors include his wife, Teresa; father, Paul Kegel; step-mother, Louise Kegel; children, Kortni Kegel, Paula, Joshua, Jacob, Zachary and Amber; stepson, Adam Greenwell; maternal grandmother, Allie Farley; siblings, Mark (Stacey) Tongue, Jessica Vetterli, Emily (Johnny) Van Wyk and Robert Kegel; aunts and uncles, Carol Egler, Karl (Mel) Kegel, Mark (Julie) Kegel, Joe (JoAnn) Kegel, Margaret Kegel, Stan Farley and Joy Hoff; mother-in-law, Sheryl Kraut; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandfather. Service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, with the Rev. William R. Wentink officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, in the funeral home, and from 10 a.m. Friday to time of service.
