VIRGINIA EMILY JASON, 89 ROCKFORD - Virginia Emily Jason, 89, of Rockford died Monday, June 6, 2011, at home. Born Dec. 22, 1921, to Frank and Julia (Mickeliunas) Pumputis. Virginia was the beloved wife of the late John G. Jason, loving mother of Barbara (Robert) Lanham and devoted grandmother of Michael Lanham. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Catholic Women's League, the Poor Clares Perpetual Light Society and Provena St. Anne Society. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road, Rockford, with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of service; Monsignor David D. Kagan will preside. Burial in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poor Clares Corpus Christi Monastery, 2111 S. Main St., Rockford, IL 61102.
