STEPHENIA ANN THOMPSON, 53 ROCKFORD - Stephenia Ann Thompson, 53, of Rockford departed this earthly life Monday, April 14, 2014, in her home. She was born January 10, 1961, in Camden, Arkansas; the daughter of Freddine Hamilton and Herbert Zackery. Stephenia married Michael Thompson in Rockford July 10, 1992. She was employed over 25 years as an clerk by OSF St. Anthony Hospital before becoming ill. She was a member of United Faith Missionary Baptist Church, serving on Pastors Aid for many years. Stephanie loved to bake, being the master of pound cakes. She graduated from Stephens High School. Stephenia leaves to cherish many loving memoires, her loving and devoted husband Michael; two daughters, Nicki Rene' Easter and Kenrda Antionette Thompson; father, Herbert Zackery; two brothers, Greg Flowers and Darren Zackery; two sisters, Debbie Zackery and Kimberly (Steve) Gartner; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother. Graveside service will be held 12 noon Friday, April 18, 2014, at Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
