DONNA JEAN HOKE, 81 ROCKFORD - Donna Jean Hoke, 81, of Rockford died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, in Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. She was born July 20, 1932, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Coletta (Vogelberger) McMurray. Married Ermal Joseph Hoke on Feb. 2, 1957, in Youngstown. Formerly employed by the Hoffman House and LaVoz Latina. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include sons, Joseph (Mari-Ann) Hoke of Millerton, N.Y., and Jeffrey (Lori) Hoke of Madison, Wis.; daughter, Janice (Robert) Woolsey of Roscoe; grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, Andrew and Abbygail Hoke, Stephanie, Thomas and Nathan Woolsey; great-grandson, Tyler Woolsey; brothers, Donald (Marge) McMurray of Youngstown and John (JoAnn) McMurray of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Mary Lou Sheets of Youngstown; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; husband; and brother, Charles. Special thank you to the nurses and staff at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday, June 30, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road, Rockford. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
