THOMAS H. BROWN SR., 91 ROCKFORD - Thomas H. Brown, Sr., 91, of Rockford, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 28, 2014. Born Dec. 23, 1922, in Aniwa, Wis., the son of Jesse and Angeline (Dumpprope) Brown. Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Married Marion Duginski in 1944; married Audrey Saeger in 1950; married Virginia Nelson in 1965; all three predeceased him. Tom loved fishing and woodworking. Survivors include his children, Bonita (Sherman) Batchlar, Thomas (Cheryl) Brown, Jr., Dale (Patricia) Brown, Ralph Brown, Cynthia Lanier, Pamela Brown and Tammie (Phil) Dedrick; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lavilla Brown, Catherine Duginski and May Lou Woods; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son, Terrance; daughter, Bernadette; three brothers; and six sisters. The family wishes to thank the staff at Presence Cor Mariae for their excellent care of Dad. Service at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park; with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to service time. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park.
