AILEEN (LEE) M. moore, 92 BRISTOL - Aileen "Lee" M. Moore, 92, of Bristol passed away Friday August 22, 2014 at Countryside Care Center in Aurora Illinois. She was born in New Richmond, Wisconsin October 19th, 1921. She was the daughter of Dr Lawrence and Ruth (nee Bloom) Lynch. She was the beloved wife of the late Hadley Paul Moore Sr. Lee was the loving mother of Robert (Lee) Moore of Middleville, MI, the late Peggy (nee Franklin) Owens and the late Howard Owens of Rockford, Michael (Joan) Franklin of Bristol, IL, Hadley Paul (Marjorie) Moore Jr of Hastings, MI, Larry (Laura) Franklin of Henderson, NV, Fredrick (Jasmin) Moore of Hastings, MI, and Thomas (Cheryl) Moore of Deltona, FL; and her little cat, Taffy of Bristol, IL. Oh I almost forgot her son-in-law, Ron Kruse, he wasn't really her son-in-law but you couldn't tell her that, she loved him dearly. Lee was the loving grandmother of over 20 grandchildren, more than 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She loved them all and told them several stories that keep them anxious and waiting for the next word. Lee worked hard raising 7 children while working in the family business, Kenmore Greenhouse, a small floral shop and Farmers Market in Rockford, Illinois on the 50's. She loved to draw and Paint. Most of her children and grandchildren have several of her paintings hanging in their homes. Lee loved to bowl and bowled in many tournaments and leagues in Michigan, Illinois and nationally with her daughter Peggy and daughter-in-law Lee and friends. Her nickname in the dart leagues was "Grambo". She was pretty good too! Lee loved life to the fullest, she loved her family so much and worried about every one of them. While at Countryside Care Center she loved the visits from all of her children and grand-children and friends. She loved looking at the pictures that everyone brought in to her on all of the visits, her strawberry sundaes too. Lee loved Wheel of Fortune and until May of this year she was amazing at the game. Her granddaughter Sue brought her a hat a noisemaker and a big balloon for New Year's so they could have a little party, Lee loved to celebrate holidays and special occasions. Lee loved her trips to Las Vegas, Laughlin, NV and many boats and casinos all over the country. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 W. State St, Rockford. Visitation 10 a.m. till the time of service. Interment in Willwood Burial Park. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the or the Alzheimers Foundation.
