BILLIE JEAN NORRIS ROSCOE - Billie Jean Norris passed away at 3:55 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, after a short but courageous fight with cancer. Billie was born Sept. 30, 1953, in Rockford. She was a one of a kind person. She deeply loved her family and friends, was always there to support and lend a helping hand. Graduate of Auburn High School and married Eddie Norris on June 11, 1971. Employed at Haldex Hydraulics for 40 years and enjoyed her extended family of co-workers with whom she bowled and played volleyball with, and was always there to cheer the company teams. Her passion was working until the job was done, which was an admirable quality she passed on to those who knew her. Her sweet smile and positive outlook was contagious. To know her was to love her and will be so truly missed. Survived by parents, Delbert and Donna Croom; husband, Eddie Norris; daughter, Bobbie Jo Norris; grandchildren, Trenton Wasserman, Tara Wasserman and Ty Wasserman; sisters and brothers, Florence (Jim) Brooks, Jim Croom, Tim (Marta) Croom, Della (Pete) Gonzales and Denny (Wendy) Croom; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Roscoe Chapel 11342 Main St. Service at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, in Thompson Funeral Home, 220 Viva Drive, Trumann, Ark., with visitation from 11 a.m. to time of service.
