JAMES R. LICARI JR., 60 'JIM BOB' LOVES PARK - James R. Licari Jr., 60, of Loves Park died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, in his home. Born Dec. 6, 1950, in Rockford, the son of James and Doris M. (Collins) Licari Sr. Graduated from East High School, Class of 1968. Attended Rock Valley College, receiving his certification in automotive technology. Veteran of the National Guard. Married Christine Naill in September 1990. Owned and operated Blumes Garage since 1998. Member of LLL Society. Avid Chicago Bears, Cubs and racing fan. Formidable Scrabble player. Survivors include wife, Christine; son, James Licari III of Pocahontas, Ark.; daughters, Sarah Licari of Pocahontas, Stephanie Ritchotte of Loves Park, Tammy (John) Hoed of Machesney Park and Bettyann Peters of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Ted, Nicky (Krystal), Michael, Brittany, Cody, Breanna, Trevor and Addison; great-grandchildren, Domanick and Jalynn; sister, Kathy Wallen of Rockford; sisters-in-law, Pam and Betty; brothers-in-law, Maurie, Bob and John; special niece, Emily; and many special friends and neighbors. Predeceased by parents; in-laws, William and Betty Naill; granddaughter, Nichole; and brother-in-law, Randy.
