WILLIAM J. 'BILL' GREENLEE, 59 CALEDONIA - William J. "Bill" Greenlee, 59, of Caledonia was pronounced dead Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, in his home, after a sudden illness. Born July 30, 1952, in Belvidere, the son of Thomas E. and Clara (Briton) Greenlee. He was a mechanical engineer for Sundstrand Corp. Bill was a member of the Mechanical Engineer Association and the Winnebago Farm Bureau. He was a graduate of Guilford High School, Class of 1970, and received his bachelors of science in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois, he later earned his master's degree in mechanical engineering. Survived by sister, Sue Ellen Greenlee of South Beloit, and brothers, Thomas Greenlee of South Beloit and Richard Greenlee of Rockford. Predeceased by his parents. Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Burial in Scottish Argyle Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the funeral home.
