WILLIAM 'WILLIE' F. RANDALL JR., 86 POPLAR GROVE - William "Willie" F. Randall Jr., 86, of Poplar Grove died peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, in his home. Born Jan. 22, 1926, in Lake Geneva, Wis.; son of William F. Randall Sr. and Bessie (Williams) Randall. Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Married Gladys Bieri on Feb. 16, 1958, in Monroe, Wis. Willie was a lifelong farmer and member of the Blaine United Methodist Church. He collected John Deere antique tractors. Willie will be remembered as a kind, gentle, patient person who was very well respected in the community. Survivors include daughter, Sally (Randy) Geishert and son, Bill Randall, both of Poplar Grove; grandchildren, Frankie, Angie, Jon and Alex Albrecht, Cassie Geishert, and Jake Randall; brother, Ed (Joanne) of Capron; several nieces and nephews; and girlfriend, Ruth Anderson. Predeceased by his parents; wife, Gladys; sisters, Mary Jean Storey, Alice Randall and Bertha Wilson; and brother, Arthur Randall. Service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, in Blaine United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tom Hay officiating. Burial in Highland Garden of Memories. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere. A memorial will be established in Willie's name.
