Jennifer Falco Obituary
JENNIFER A. FALCO, 52 BELVIDERE TOWNSHIP - Jennifer A. Falco, 52, of Belvidere Township, passed away peacefully, with her husband by her side, Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Beloit (Wis.) Memorial Hospital. She was born March 22, 1960, in Rockford, daughter of Chester J. and Mary Lou (Pohl) Kostrzewa. Her parents moved with her to Europe at age two; she was raised in Switzerland and England. She moved back to the United States with her parents in 1976 and was a graduate of Beloit Catholic High School in 1977. She completed dental hygiene school at Northwestern University in Chicago, in 1983. She married James S. Falco on June 15, 1985, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Beloit. Jennifer was a dental hygienist for more than 25 years, most recently working for Dr. Kelly Moore in Rockford. She had an extraordinary talent for quilting, needlework and knitting. She loved all animals especially her two bouviers, Satchel and Ulysses; and greatly enjoyed the Wisconsin north woods and fishing. Survivors include husband, James; two brothers, Chet (Susan) Kostrzewa Jr. of Simi Valley, Calif., and James (Connie) Kostrzewa of Iola, Wis.; and nephew, Kyle Kostrzewa of Seattle, Wash. She was predeceased by her parents. Jennifer and her family would like to thank all the patients and staff at Dr. Kelly Moore's office who sent countless cards, thoughts and gifts of encouragement over the past three years; she took great joy and comfort from them. She was deeply touched by all your thoughtfulness. Jennifer's husband Jim would personally like to thank Dr. Shelly J., Karen S. (#3) Ruth K. and Beth A. of Beloit Regional Hospice for their caring and attentive presence throughout Jenny's hospital stay. And finally, Jim would also like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff of the special care unit at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Your quiet work and attention to Jennifer's comfort meant so much to me and know that it was greatly appreciated. All of you are true professionals in the care of end of life. Thank you! Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Road, Beloit, with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl officiating.
