RANDOLPH S. MILLER SR., 56 DIXON - Randolph S. Miller Sr., 56, of Dixon was called to his heavenly home on Monday, April 22, 2013, in the Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL, surrounded by his loving family. Randy was born in Streator, IL, March 4, 1957, son of James and Dorothy (Rutledge) Miller. He proudly served four years in the United States Marine Corps. He married Sandra Pleskovitch on June 24, 1995, in Dixon, IL. Randy worked as a security guard at the Byron Nuclear Plant prior to working at the Jack Mabley Center as a Mental Health Technician. He loved gardening and woodworking, but most of all he loved family and friends. He loved talking to people and was a great listener to all. Randy leaves behind his wife, Sandra; son, Randolph (Dina) Miller Jr.; daughter, Kelly Hope; step-son, Ronald Pleskovitch; 1 step-granddaughter; 6 sisters; 4 brothers; host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents. The family would like to thank the staff at Serenity Hospice & Home for the care and compassion given to Randy. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded. Memorials may be directed to the family or the Serenity Hospice & Home, 1658 S. Illinois Route 2, Oregon, IL 61061. Cremation Society of Illinois assisted the family.
