HELEN (ULRICH) WOOSLEY, 81 APPLETON, Wis. - Helen (Ulrich) Woosley, age 81, was unexpectedly called to the Lord to be with her beloved husband on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Helen was born Sept. 7, 1931, the daughter of Lester and Dora Ulrich in Rockford, Illinois. She was a graduate of Rockford East High School. In October 1952, Helen married the love of her life, Glen Woosley. She spent the ensuing years raising their daughter, Glenda, as well as being active in various organizations in the Madison area. She worked in the collection industry, purchasing the collection agency side of the business from Madison Credit Bureau in 1974. Shortly thereafter, it was renamed to Consolidated Collection Bureau, Inc. Helen was most happy spending time with her late husband, Glen, her daughter, Glenda, the dogs and friends either at their home on Lake Wisconsin or traveling in their motor home and vacationing in Florida during the winter months. Her strong faith helped her through some challenging health issues in the past six years with courage and determination. Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Glenda; her 'adopted' granddaughter through the Big Brothers/Big Sister Program, Shanalee Gallagher of San Francisco, CA; her four legged grand dog, Sadie; sister-in-law, Vera (Bill) Ulrich of Monticello, Minnesota; nieces and nephews, Mary Casna of Rockford, Illinois, Denise (Dan) McAllister of Montrose, Colorado; Scott (Janice) Olson of Lodi, Wisconsin; Martha (Quinn) Barclay, Susan Hall and David Ulrich, all of Rockford, Illinois and several great nieces and nephews, Bobby (Amanda), Marissa, Melody (Steve), Mindy (Ryan), Matt, Jake and Angie (Peter) along with many great, great nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Glen, her parents, Lester and Dora, her six brothers-David, John, Richard, Paul, Bill and Louis, her sister, Alice, her niece, Vicki and nephew, Quinn. The family is planning a memorial service and a celebration of Helen's life for the immediate family at a later date. In keeping with Helen's giving spirit, Glenda is requesting that you make a contribution to in memory of Helen.
