BILLY R. BRITTAIN, 59 ROCKFORD - Billy R. Brittain, 59, of Rockford, was welcomed into his mansion over the hilltop on Saturday July 13, 2013. Born March 11, 1954 in Decatur Alabama, son of Bill and Faye (Stanley) Brittain. Married Cindy Woods in Rockford,IL. March 27, 1971. Survivors include, wife, Cindy; son, Mike; daughter, Alicia (Gary) Pinkston; grandchildren, Mike, Klara, Brandon, Randall, Kaye Ann, Ashley; great grandson, Vinny; sister, Allie (George) Allen of South Beloit; brothers, Joe Brittain of Rockford, Steve (Jennifer) Brittain of Loves Park; foster brothers, Steve (Cindy) Davis of Rockton,Il and Gene (Diana) Bray of Arizona; lifelong best friend Mike (Susie) Keeton of Stillman Valley, IL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by Mother, Faye; Father, Billie; and brother, Tommy. Billy had a heart of gold, he loved and served his country with the US Army. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees, but most of all loved his family and was the best Grandpa/Great Grandpa in the world. Services Thursday 2 p.m. July 18, 2013 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel 4311 North Mulford Road. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time in funeral home.
