Lockridge, Dr. William Eugene - Ruidoso  
Dr. William Eugene Lockridge of Ruidoso, NM and Crosby, TX passed away Thursday, July 2 in Ruidoso. He was born September 9, 1931 to Edward & Josephine Lockridge. Major Lockridge served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1968, retiring in El Paso, TX. In 1957 he met his wife, Loanda Brooks Lockridge, in Huntsville, AL where he was stationed and were married for 59 wonderful years. In 1975 he earned his PhD in Psychology from New Mexico State University. Bill had a nature you could not help loving. We will miss his smile, his warm laughter, but most of all we will miss him! He is survived by his wife, Loanda; his son, Stephen Lockridge and wife, Roseanna; his daughter Wendy Reed and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Rodney & Helen Reed, Justin & Lindsey Reed, Joshua Lockridge, Sarah & David Long and Kelley & Jacob Rogers; great grandchildren, Aubree Reed & Connor Reed. A Memorial Service will be held at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso on Wednesday, July 8 at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Honor Flight Southern New Mexico at www.honorflightnm.com.

Lord, Charlotte Darlene - Ruidoso Downs  
Charlotte Darlene Lord, 71, of Ruidoso Downs, NM passed away on June 26, 2015. Charlotte was born in West Virginia on June 30, 1943 and was a resident of Southern California for many years. A graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, Charlotte received her wings as an air hostess for Trans World Airlines shortly after graduation. Charlotte enjoyed a very active lifestyle, at one time she was an actress and stunt woman for several televisions shows including Hawaii 5-0. Charlotte lived in Hawaii for several very happy years. Her love of animals, particularly of horses, brought her to Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico where she has been a long time resident. She attended the First Christian Church of Ruidoso and worked at the Community Help Center, which she enjoyed immensely. Charlotte was a wonderful and kind human being and she will be missed dearly by her family, friends and community. A memorial service was held for Charlotte at First Christian Church of Ruidoso on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 2 pm.
