Louis Lindsay "Bud" Jarrell, Jr., of Ruidoso, NM, died on June 23, 2014 after a brief illness. Bud was born on January 20, 1947 to Louis Lindsay and Ada Margaret Jarrell. He grew up in Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University. Bud married Catherine Frank Stogner on December 26, 1971 and they recently celebrated 42 happy years of marriage, the last 32 in Ruidoso. It was a true partnership.

Bud will be remembered as a kind and faithful man who loved horses, dancing and country music, but he was always most happy spending time with his family. Bud is survived by his wife Frankie, his three children, Catherine Hanna and husband Arthur of Austin, Texas, Chuck Jarrell and wife Sandy of Los Angeles, California, Bethany Jarrell of Alamogordo, New Mexico, and his grandchildren, Taylor Hanna, Jordan Hanna, Joshua Jarrell, Alyssa Monrreal and Brooks Jarrell.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. on August 9, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Ruidoso. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln County Food Bank, PO Box 7432, Ruidoso NM 88355.
