BENNINGTON - Celine LaCroix Mallory, 86, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Fillmore Pond.
Born in Bennington Feb. 19, 1927, she was the daughter of Aime A. and Alexina (Dupont) LaCroix.
She was a graduate of Bennington High School in 1945, St. Joseph's Business School in Bennington, and attended Southern Vermont College and Southwestern Vermont Career Development Center.
She married Henry Hawley Mallory in Bennington October 1952.
Mrs. Mallory was first employed as executive secretary at BenMont Paper Co. and later, in the administrative office at Berkshire Medical Center.
She volunteered at the American Red Cross, Bennington Museum and for many events at church where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and prayer groups.
She enjoyed collecting dolls and figurines.
Survivors include two sisters, Germaine Rhodes and Martha Dailey, both of Williamstown; a brother, Raymond LaCroix of Sarasota, Fla.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Mallory was predeceased by her husband and two sisters, Theresa Teele and Marie Thomas.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Church where friends may call from 9:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
