Stephen Jadick Obituary
He was born July 15, 1953, in Abington, Pa., the son of William Jadick and Mary Hellings.
Mr. Jadick grew up in Willow Grove, Pa., graduating from the Upper Moreland High School in 1971 and Temple University in 1986.
He married the formerTheresa Nardone on May 18, 1991.
Mr. Jadick worked in the book industry for more than 40 years for such companies as Viking Penguin, Blackwell North America, Reed Elsevier and, for the past six years, at Tuttle Publishing.
He was a lifelong student of philosophy and world religions, and had a great love of science fiction, comic books, mysteries and film.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Jadick of Wallingford; sons Mickey Gali of Los Angeles, Calif., and Michael Stephen Jadick of Seattle, Wash.; and sister Maryellen Jadick of Arlington, Va.
He was predeceased by his parents in 1999 and his stepmother Dorothy Jadick in 2004.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at Wallingford-Aldous Funeral Home, 187 North Main St., Wallingford, VT.
Memorial contributions may be made to Light on the Hill, 209 Blake Hill Road, Van Etten, NY 14889 (lightonthehill.org).

I am so sorry to learn of this. I enjoyed tremendously working with Steve when I was buyer for his publishing houses. He was funny, friendly, honest *and* professional--a rare combination.

Steve was a wonderful rep and truly a good guy. I'll miss our conversations on the proper way to drink tea. My heart and condolences go out to his family.

I first met Steve in a professional capacity when he was running Ocean Light Press, and we soon realized that we were spiritual brothers. His broad knowledge and practical experience was stimulating and inspiring. I recall in particular a delightful esoteric conversation in my hot tub! Later, at my invitation Steve joined the board of Omega Publications, a small spiritual press, to which he gave generously and helped greatly. Steve I hope all of your deep questions are now answered for you. To his family, Miriam and I send our deepest condolences. He was a good guy, good company and a keen professional.
