He was a member of the Vermont Bar Association, American Bar Association and past President and Treasurer of American Trial Lawyers Association. Tony enjoyed watching and participating in his children's endeavors: their hockey, sailing, skiing, dancing, horse shows, soccer, swim teams, hunting, and restoring and showing his 1957 MGA, traveling, and wonderful trips in his Winnebago with the Joe Giancolas and the Dick Heberts.

Tony had many adventures with family and friends, including organizing sailing vacations in Tortola, BVI. He was an avid and renowned sailor with accomplishments including holding local and national titles and became a Commodore in the British Virgin Islands.
