CLARENDON - Arthur Armand Labelle, 73, of Clarendon died Sunday morning, January 20, 2013, at his residence.

He was born on March 2, 1939, in Stamford, CT, the son of Armand and Alice Labelle.

Mr. Labelle grew up in Connecticut, where he graduated from the Darien High School in 1957.

He was employed for over 30 years by the General Electric Company, retiring in 1994. Following his retirement he established Log Cabin Gun Shop that he operated for over 15 years.

Mr. Labelle was a member of Rutland React, NRA, Atlantic Coast Old Timers Auto Racing Club (ACOT) and the Model Airplane Club.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman, firearms collector and enjoyed camping and building model airplanes. When he was younger he enjoyed racing cars and motocross.

Survivors include his wife Jane Labelle; six children: Lynne Graham of Castleton and her companion Ricky D'Avignon and her son Matthew Graham; Sherinnne Thomson of North Clarendon and her companion Randy Jarvie and her sons John Thomson and his wife Anna and Joseph Thomson; Laurie Proctor and her husband Floyd of Rutland and children Marilee Murphy, Jessie Sumner and Tuckeer Proctor; Colenne Whalen of Wallingford and her children Katie Tessier and her husband Arron, Alyson Whalen and Marie Whalen; Michael Labelle of North Clarendon and his sons Michael Labelle and Dylan Labelle; and Renné Gee of Rutland and her son Justin Gee; a sister Dottie Ellis; a brother George Labelle; stepdaughter Sabrina Jarvis; stepson Peter Karviles; great-grandchildren Emma, Cadence, and Lillian.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his first wife Marilee Daly in 2009.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Aldous Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Bloomfield, CT.
