To the Bruce family,
We are so sorry to hear about Frank's passing. We had the pleasure of getting to know him through his affiliation with Eastern Draft Horse Assoc. He could surely tell some great stories! We were also pleased to learn he had somehow taken in our Percheron stallion, Kurt. We knew he would be in good hands with Frank. May God bless him and all of you in these difficult days.

I remember this man. back in Vermont, 1982, my husband, and son Chas, rode the
sleigh, on a cold winter day, Chas's cheekes were so red. This was a wonderful man. he is at rest now, and I
know there are horses in heaven.

So very sorry for your loss. Just last week Frank stopped by with some apples...hard to believe that he will no longer be stopping in with apples and talks of Shady Maples. Dear Michael, Merritt, Rita, Terry, Tracy, Aunt Bonnie and families , my heart is with you at this time of great loss and sorrow. Even though I am across the country I feel a great loss in my life. I have so many wonderful memories of Uncle Frank, Aunt Jane, and all of you and the times I was able to spend back with you when we were all younger. We have all been blessed to be able to remain close even thought the miles separate us. I will forever remember my phone calls with my uncle, he was always just like talking with my dad. And now I know the two of them are finally reunited after so many years. And I know that Aunt Jane is happy to have him home. My Love and My Heart are with you all.Love Peggy
