WHITING - Guy Philip LaDuc Jr., 75, died June 13, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Shoreham July 30, 1936, the son of Eleanor (Baldwin) and Guy Philip LaDuc Sr.

He was a 1954 graduate of Shoreham High School.

Mr. LaDuc served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1957.

In earlier years, he farmed and later worked as a machine operator for Polymer Plastic Corp. in East Middlebury for more than 31 years, retiring in 1998.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa (Gregory) LaDuc of Whiting, whom he married in Middlebury May 18, 1984; a son, William LaDuc of Lubbock, Texas; three stepchildren, Stephen Lamonda of Milton, Anita Lamonda of Whiting and Denise Sheehy of Whitehall, N.Y.; two siblings, Elroy LaDuc of Springfield and Diane Dutton of Middlebury; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. LaDuc was predeceased by a brother, Charles LaDuc, in 1985.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, in St. Genevieve Cemetery in Shoreham with the Rev. Albert "Skip" Baltz, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon, officiating and followed by a reception at Whiting Town Hall.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
