ARLINGTON - Jeannette "Pat" Clayton, 84, a resident of Ringer's Home Care in Vergennes, died Saturday, May 11, 2013.

She was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Arlington, the daughter of Lynn and Mabel (Squires) Woodard.
She graduated from Arlington High School.
Mrs. Clayton worked at Mack Molding, Stanley Tools and Eveready Battery.
She was a member of Federated Church of East Arlington and the American Legion Post 69, VFW and DAV auxiliaries.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth E. Clayton Sr. of Vergennes; three children, Kenneth Jr. of Vergennes, Daniel of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., and Kathryn Brockelman of Shirley, Mass.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Keith; a sister, Marjorie McIntyre, and infant brother; and a great-grandson.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Federated Church of East Arlington, with the Rev. Kathleen Clark officiating, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery and then a reception in Bailey Hall at the church.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at the Arlington Chapel of Hanson-Walbridge-Shea Funeral Home.
