PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Jeffrey Fisher, 58, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, graduate of Middleborough High School class of 1972, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, after a lengthy illness.

He was the husband and best friend of Cheryl (Gallerani) Fisher for 34 years. He is survived by his son, Joshua Fisher of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Jeff attended Middleborough schools where he was the senior class president and a standout athlete. He was the varsity football captain, enjoyed playing baseball and fast-pitch softball, snow skiing and golf.

After graduation, he attended Montclaire State University in New Jersey. He was a passionate chef and restaurateur. In his teenage years, he was a bartender at the Red Coach Grille, then later general manager of The Windjammer in Buzzards Bay. Finally, he went on to own and operate Clem's Kitchen in Rutland, Vermont.

In addition to his wife and son, Jeff leaves behind his parents, Harry and Joan Fisher of Middleborough, two brothers, Gid and David Fisher, both of Middleborough, their wives and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2:00 p.m. at Christ Fellowship Church South Campus at 5312 North Lake Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. A memorial gathering for friends and family will take place at the family homestead at a later date.
