MIDDLE GRANVILLE, N.Y. - Judith Williams-Waite, 74, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at her home.

She was born Jan. 14, 1938, in Granville, N.Y., the daughter of Minnie (Schermerhorn) and William G. "Curley" Williams Jr.
She was employed as a cashier for 27 years at Grand Union.
Mrs. Waite enjoyed interior decorating, auctions, collecting pottery, refinishing furniture, flower gardening, as well as shopping, annual MWA bus trips and Jehovah's Witness gatherings.
Survivors include her husband, Howard "Sam" Waite; four sons, Mark Faxon of Whitehall, Dale, Robin and Barry, all of Granville; three siblings, Bruce of Granville, William of Florida and Mary Williams; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at a time to be announced Saturday, Sept. 22, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, State Route 22 in Hebron.
Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M. King Funeral Home in Granville.
